jsonxmlformatter is a browser-based formatter and converter for structured text such as JSON, XML, YAML, HTML, CSS, SQL, URLs, Base64, and JWTs.

Data processed in the formatter

The content you paste or upload into the formatter is processed locally in your browser. The current static version of jsonxmlformatter does not send your payloads to a server for formatting, validation, conversion, or download.

Local storage

jsonxmlformatter may store your theme preference and recent payload history in your browser's local storage. You can clear recent history using the Clear button in the app or by clearing site data in your browser.

File uploads

Uploaded files are read by your browser so their contents can be placed into the editor. Files are not uploaded to jsonxmlformatter servers in this static version.

Advertising and third parties

jsonxmlformatter may display advertisements through third-party advertising partners. These partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses, browser information, and similar technologies to serve ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and improve ad relevance.
